eGift Card Offer
eGift Cards function like traditional, physical gift cards, in that they carry a balance and don't have to be used all at once.
Also, eGift Cards are typically what customers will be purchasing to use as gifts, since that's what they're most familiar with.

Choosing a Title
When choosing a title, you'll want to exclude the price that the customer pays during checkout as this will automatically be displayed where needed.
In other words, just include what the customer gets.
Here are some examples:
Buy $50 & Get $15 Free
$50 Holiday eGift Card
You can also set an Internal Note that the customer will not see, so you can keep better track of your eGift Cards, if you happen to have similar titles for each of them.

Pricing & Quantity
When you set the pricing, you'll specify one amount that will be the gift card amount and also the price that's paid.
In other words, you won't be selling a $50 eGift Card for $40; you'll always sell a $50 eGift Card for $50.
Any discount or incentive that you want to offer will be done in the form of a bonus amount.
You can also specify what quantity can be purchased in one order. So, if someone chooses 2 for the quantity of a $50 eGift Card, their total eGift Card value will be $100 (excluding any bonus amount).

Bonus Value
Sometimes you may want to offer a bonus value.
Purchasers who are giving this as a gift will have the option to keep the bonus e-gift card for themselves or give it to the gift recipient.

Multiple Quantities
If you allow more than one to be purchased at a time, the checkout page will allow them to pick their value, and clearly states the amount of the bonus, if applicable.
Gifting Options
If there is a bonus value and they are giving it as a gift, they'll see a message on the checkout page in the gifting section:
Normally two eGift Cards will be generated: one for the gift recipient and the other for you with the bonus amount. However, you can checkmark this box to add the bonus amount to the gift recipient's eGift Card.
If they aren't giving it as a gift, the system will issue one eGift Card with the regular amount and the bonus amount. So, in our example this would be $50 + $15 bonus, so one eGift Card would be issued for $65.
