Lead Management

In addition to capturing leads through your Lead Form, you can import leads in bulk so you can send a personalized postcard.

This allows you to know which postcard recipients have taken an interest by scanning their unique QR code.

When they scan the QR code the system will set a cookie in their browser so you will get credit for the referral when they sign up later.
Lead Statuses
Before we import, we can optionally set up custom Lead Statuses.

We can also set up Lead Zones

Lead Groups
Finally, we can add Lead Groups
Lead Groups
Import Leads
The idea behind this is to obtain a targeted external mailing list of businesses that we want to mail a postcard to.

Once we have the mailing list in .csv format, we can import it.

Choose the proper criteria during the import so we can easily filter and export later on.

Duplicate Checking
One option that we have when importing is to have it check for duplicates.

A duplicate lead record is determined by a matching email, mobile phone or business phone.

None - ALL Records Will Be Imported (No Duplicate Checking):
This means that every record will be imported as a new record. We may have duplicates after this, but this can be useful if you are creating a new Lead Group and want every lead to be imported into this group, whether they happen to be in your database already or not.

Enabled - Check For Duplicates But Do NOT Update Existing Records
This means that the list will not import records that are already in your database. It will just ignore and skip over these records.

Enabled - Check For Duplicates and Fill In Blanks On Existing Records
This means that if it finds a match, it will try to fill in the blanks with updated information.

Leads Interface
When viewing Leads (whether imported or coming from the Lead Form), we can filter down and export the list we want to CSV and then mail it out using a service like https://www.stannp.com" rel="nofollow" class="a_theme_color" target="_blank">https://www.stannp.com.

We can move leads around in bulk by filtering, checkmarking all and then choosing the desired action in the "Do the following to checked" box.

Editing a Lead
Click Edit to view & edit a lead manually.

Many mailing services allow you to customize what is printed on each piece, including a custom QR code.

In order to take advantage of this capability, CartQ creates a unique Lead Form URL for each lead.

This field is included in the exported csv file and can be used as the unique URL for the QR code for each postcard when you import to the postcard mailing service.

This way, when the recipient scans the code, a notification will be sent to you containing the relevant information.

Lead Form URL
The custom Lead Form URL for each lead is included in the exported csv so you can import it to your postcard mailing service for use as a custom QR code for each postcard mailed.

Scanning the Lead Form URL will cookie them so you'll get credited for the sale later if they sign up, and it will redirect them to your Lead Form where they can explore CartQ and hopefully fill out the lead form.

Lead Scans
There are three levels for leads that we can filter on.

Unconfirmed: This means there is no email saved for the lead and they've never scanned their QR code.

Scanned QR: This means that the lead has scanned the QR code at least once.

Confirmed: This means that there's an email address.

Note that if a lead has scanned the QR code and provided an email, they will come up if you are searching on Scanned QR or Confirmed.

In other words, a lead can be Scanned QR and confirmed at the same time.

Also, we can Reset QR Scans back to zero by editing a Lead.
