Certified Partner Certification Overview
The e-Course contains some tasks that will be completed within your Certified Parter account and some tasks that need to be done within a Commerce account.
Because of this, the e-Course requires signing up for a Certified Partner account and a Commerce account (preferably in that order), and the two accounts will work in tandem to complete the e-Course.
In other words, the system will be looking at your designated Commerce account to mark the applicable tasks as Completed in your Certified Partner e-Course.
Note: All the steps can be completed during the trial period of the Commerce account, so you don't have to commit to the full monthly cost of the Commerce account to finish your certification.

Referral Link for Commerce Sign Up
If you sign up for your Certified Partner account first, you should click on your Referral Link before signing up for your Commerce account so that it will be linked as a referral automatically.
Make Sure They're Linked
Within your Certified Partner account, click on Clients. This shows you all the CartQ accounts that have designated you as their Certified Partner.
You should now see your Commerce account listed there.

20-Digit Certified Partner Account ID
Accounts that you have referred (they clicked on your referral link before signing up), will automatically be linked to your Certified Partner account and therefore will show up in your Clients list.
If you don't see it there, you can link the account manually.
Copy the 20-Digit Account ID from your Certified Partner Account Settings page, then log into your Commerce account, go to Account Settings and paste it into the '20-digit Certified Partner ID' field.
This is the process for linking and unlinking accounts, as described in the note in the screenshot taken from the Commerce account > Set Up > Account Settings > Certified Partner section:
If you would like to grant account access to a CartQ Certified Partner, you may enter their Certified Partner ID here. This allows them to quickly login to your account from their admin panel and enables functionality that allows them to more efficiently manage your account. To revoke access later on, you can simply remove their account ID from this box.

Review & Complete Tasks
Now click Home > e-Course within your Certified Partner account and you will see 'Task' tags next to items where there's something that need to be completed.
The specific task will be outlined in the "e-Course" square at the bottom of each section.
As you work through and complete the tasks, the items will show as 'Completed'.
Note that tasks that are completed within the Commerce account will show as completed in both on your Commerce account Onboarding page and also within your Certified Partner account e-Course page.

Automatic Certification
When all 'Task' tags show as 'Completed' in your Certified Partner account, the e-Course will be officially finished and your account will be automatically certified and fully activated.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
You'll want to enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) on your Certified Partner account (User Profile > 2FA Settings). This is a security requirement in order to enable the fast Login buttons in your Clients list.
If you don't want to enable 2FA, you won't be able to use the one-click Login buttons from within your account.
As an alternative, you'd need to coordinate with the business owner to either use their primary username and password, or create a full-access user for yourself within their account and then login via that username and password.

Fast Switching
On your Clients page, the Login button should now be activated. Click to Login.
Now click on your username in the top right corner of your account, and you'll see your Certified Partner username, and any other usernames that you have logged into during your session.
You can now switch back and forth between the two accounts, as needed, as you work through completing the steps.
You may want to spend most of your time in the Commerce account and work off of that Onboarding page (keeping in mind that that's exactly what your clients will see), while switching back to your Certified Partner account periodically to see any e-Course task directives.
You'll also find this feature to be a real time saver as you work with onboarding your businesses.
