Discount Card Offer

A discount card is a collection of certificates that is sold for deeply-discounted price, compared to the amount that could be saved. The great thing about the discount card is that you are essentially selling a stack of coupons.

Let's compare the eGift Card and the Discount Card:

Imagine you sell an eGift Card for $25. The customer may come in and buy $40 worth of food, consuming the entire eGift Card, and then pay the difference of $15 in cash.

Now let's say you sell a discount card for $25 with 12 offers on it. In the customer's mind, they're pleased with the fact they're getting the value of all 12 offers, which far exceeds the $25 purchase price.

But in order to use each offer, they need to come in 12 times. So, if you're making a profit on each offer, and they actually use all 12 offers, you're making a lot more than you would have than if you just had sold the customer a $25 eGift Card.

You get the sale on the front end, whether they use it or not, and if they do use it, you can also make profit on each visit.

And your loyal customers love these discount cards, because they're figuring they're going to come in anyway, so they might as well get a deal. And this gives them the nudge to go to your place over a competitor's.
Setting The Title
When setting the title, exclude the price that the customer pays during checkout as this will automatically be displayed where needed. In other words, just include what the customer gets.

Clone From Other Offers
If you have already created a Discount Card, Subscription Box or Calendar Card, and have added squares or items, you will see the option to clone them.

For example, if you create a Subscription Box and add items to it, when you go to add new Discount Card squares, you'll see the option to clone offers from your Subscription Box and any other offers that have squares or items added to them.

Note that if you plan on cloning, you should add any of your offer images to your Media Library first and then select them from your Media Library when editing your item so that they will be cloned, since images uploaded to specific items aren't cloned.

Savings Value
For each square, you'll add the Savings Value. This can be estimated, or the maximum amount that could be saved.

The purpose of the Savings Value is that it is tallied for all discount squares and is shown as 'Save Up To...' on Discount Card promotional pages.

On the Splash Page and Checkout Page, the key information is automatically displayed in the header, including the total amount saved, to reinforce the total savings value.

Also it clearly states when the offers expire, if you happen to have an expiration date, which is important for customers to know before they purchase.
