Subscription Box Offer

Subscription Box Offers work similarly to what you're already familiar with for physical products.

The customer pays up front for a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription, and every week, every two weeks or once a month they receive a new certificate.

One nice thing about Subscription Boxes over Discount Cards is that rather than having a bunch of offers to pick from up front, the customer gets one at a time, over a longer period of time, so the offers stay fresh.

Subscription boxes work great for gifts.
Setting The Title
When setting the title, exclude the price that the customer pays during checkout as this will automatically be displayed where needed. In other words, just include what the customer gets.

Example: 'Subscription Box'
Setting The Title
Set the Subscription Box Price Per Month
Customers will have the option to purchase a 3, 6 or 12 month Subscription Box and will pay for the entire amount up front.

Box Item Certificates - Frequency
You can choose to send a certificate out at one of these three frequencies:

Once Per Month
Every Two Weeks (Up to 2 Times Per Month)
Weekly (Up to 4 Times Per Month)

Box Item Certificates will be sent in sequence based on their Cycle Order. The cycle will start over at the beginning as many times as necessary to fulfill the 3, 6 or 12 month duration that the customer selected.

So, you don't have to worry about having 48 unique offers, if you are sending a certificate weekly and someone chooses a 12 month subscription. You could just start with as few as 3 offers, especially if you choose to send a certificate once per month.

Send Time of Day
You can choose what time of day to send the certificates each week, month, etc..
Send Time of Day
Expiration Date
You can choose how long the offers are good for.

The expiration date is based on so many days after the certificate is sent to the customer, not when the original subscription box order is placed. This way the customer has the full amount of time to use the offer.

Note that because the customer is paying for the subscription box, you may want to have a decent expiration date, like 6-months or 1 year, like you would for Discount Cards.

However, depending on your strategy, you may also want to limit the expiration date in a way that makes sense for the offer.

For example, you could offer a Chips & Salsa subscription box, where a customer can pay $100 and get free chips & salsa every week for a year.

In this scenario, you could have an expiration date of 7-31 days on each certificate.

Clone From Other Offers
If you have already created a Discount Card, Subscription Box or Calendar Card, and have added squares or items, you will see the option to clone them.

This can be a real time saver, especially if you want to re-use the same offers for other promotions.

For example, if you create a Discount Card and add 12 offers, and create a Subscription Box, when you go to add new Subscription Box items, you'll see the option to clone offers from your Discount Card.

Note that if you plan on cloning, you should add any of your offer images to your Media Library first and then select them from your Media Library when editing your item so that they will be cloned, since images uploaded to specific items aren't cloned.
