Users & Notifications

By default, a primary user is created when you sign up. This primary user has full permissions over the account.

You can also set up multiple secondary users. Ideally, each staff member should have their own secondary user account so that things can be tracked according to each user and you can disable a single user's account if they ever leave your organization.
Email & Text Their Login Information
When you add a staff member, you can checkmark the boxes to "Send Email To User With Login Information Upon Saving" and "Send Text Message To User With Personal Login Page Link & Security PIN Upon Saving".

Security PIN
Each user is assigned a 6 digit security PIN. The Security PIN is used for certificate redemptions and when logging in from the personal login page.

Personal Login Page
Each user under a business account gets a personal login page. The personal login page is meant to be an easy way for staff members to access their CartQ account without having to install an app or remember a password.

After getting sent the email or text message with their login info, they simply click on the personal login page link on their phone and bookmark it on their home screen.

You only need to use the security PIN to login from the personal login page.

Restricting Access
Should you ever need to revoke access for a staff member, you can make user inactive, which will disable access entirely.

You can also restrict their access by choosing 'Limited Access' for the Access Level option. This will be the desired option for most of your staff members.

Limited Access - This only gives access to Redemptions and Communications.

Full Access - This gives access to everything except Account Settings, Locations, Billing Info and Users & Notifications.

Note: Crediting an eGift-Card and Editing a Subtotal after a redemption has been submitted by a staff member is only allowed by 'Full Access' users.

If you need more users than your plan allows for free, you can go to your Current Plan and increase the number of Extra Secondary Users.

Note that the number of secondary users is based on the users that are active, so setting a user to inactive will free up a user spot.
