Join Waitlist Offer

A Join Waitlist Offer is designed to be an easy way for customers to scan a QR code, enter their name, phone and party size in order to join your waitlist at a particular location.

When their table is ready, your staff can send a text message notification to the customer and mark their record as fulfilled.

It also provides an easy way to onboard your customers into your Points & Rewards program.

We can call it something simple, so we'll just go with the default, "Join Waitlist".

Each Waitlist Offer needs to be associated with a particular location, so this is a required field.

Customize the Special Requests Box
This is the text that will go below the 'Special Requests' box to let the visitor know examples of what to enter in the box.

Example: 'Please let us know of any special requests or instructions, high chairs needed, birthdays or anniversaries being celebrated, etc..'

The 8.5x11" flyer is all you'll really need.

Print the PDF with the QR code and display it at your location.

Scan The QR Code
Once you scan the QR Code, you'll be take to the waitlist form, where it asks for your name (first name at a minimum), phone number and party size.

If the customer is already logged in to their account, their phone number will already be populated.

They can also fill out any special requests.

Submit The Form
When the customer submits the form, there can be one of several outcomes.

If the customer is already a Patron in your database and you have Points & Rewards enabled on your account, it will take them directly to their Points Entry offer so they can get points for their visit.

If you don't have Points & Rewards enabled, it will take them to the Featured Items page.

In either case, it will display a message: "Thank you! Well notify you when were ready for your party."

Onboarding Opportunity
If they aren't already a patron in your database, we now have an opportunity to onboard them.

And, this is the ideal time because they are likely going to have a minute to do this while they're waiting.

The system will follow the what you have set up for your Points Entry page.

So, if you have a Sign-Up Gift selected for your Points Entry offer, it will redirect them to that sign up page and show them the appropriate message.

If you don't have a Sign-Up Gift for your Points Entry Offer, the system will redirect them to the Points Entry look up page where it asks for their Phone or Email.

It will have their phone number already filled in, so they can easily submit.

From that point, it will guide them through the rest of the Points Entry onboarding process.

RSVN/Waitlist Fulfillment
Your Staff can vist the RSVN/Waitlist page in order to notify and fulfill those on the waitlist.

Clicking the Notify button will present the option to Call or Text one of our Pre-Defined Replies that we've set up.

And finally, we can mark them as Seated.

Later on, a staff member can also initiate the onboarding process by clicking on the Points Entry button by their name.
